it was ok on the first one, second one had kind of a cheesy vibe to me and the third one was just awful. i am surprised that that face isnt on this cover as its been on everything they have released.

I've been waiting approximately 7 years for Eat Static Vs Hallucinogen LP a 3rd Halluciogen LP and/or a new 12" single of Hallucinogen POST my-loony-um. WHAT THE FUCK is this guy waiting for? is he just smoking so much hash he can't make any music of his own anymore? i need some answers i love his music but god jesus what's the hold up.

I love Shpongle, but i also want some proper Posford goa.

Last interesting thing off the label i thought was younger brother's last lp but it just had too many damn cheese vocals

Check out M.E.E.O in the meantime.. Particularly his 'highlight me please' album. Through and through posford influence, but i wouldn't go so far as to say he's biting. In fact this is probably one of my favorite psytrance/goa album from last year. Samples here - http://www.meeo.se/released.htm

knowing twisted that release might come out in november 2010. they are horrible at keeping their release dates. i am still waiting on word about the hallucinogen in dub-live album that was supposed to come out in january.

yeah, i thought the last days of gravity was pretty brilliant in places (happy pills is serious) but compared to his old output he's not got enough going on... and we all know how unreliable raja ram is. more hallucinogen plz.

they're working on a new younger brother album... hopefully it'll come out before the next ages. and be good.

i'm kind of tired of the whole hallucinogen in dub concept, it seems like the first one came out almost 6 years ago its time to move on to something else.

i know. got it already. is good enough, but doesn't compare to the studio album. they should have used the live situation more.

dark shpongle is good shpongle. i havent been shpongled in a long time

definitely my least favorite shpongle. without question.

though it's still quite awesome

i like all the attempts at live sounding psychedelic rockish stuff on here, but i think the fact that he makes it sound so sterile and rigidly quantized (when it sounds like all live instruments) takes a lot of the soul out of it. I would rather him have some live drumming underneath some of those tracks

does it get close to the younger brother sound now?

yeah i'd say it's a little more Younger Brotherish this time around, a lot more lyrical vocals and trying to go for more of a rockband sound. the tracks are more epic and long than the previous album.

def good. different than what i expected. seems like there is a lot to take in though. im just glad there is new shpongle. and its gooooooood!

Just going off of youtube quality, I don't really get what the beef is about this album. It's really good!
