Daft Punk is Scoring "Tron 2"

if they have any sense, they won't. people are watching them on this one, and if they want to continue to be relevant (and employed), they need to do a good job here. perhaps this is something we should take bets on. if they fuck it up, i won't really bother with anything else they release (probably), but it won't change my opinions on their existing albums either.

I bet Daft Punk is going to re-use their old songs in a different way from Alive 2007 and call it an original music score. Autechre should compose the score without a doubt. Agree with my statement or you will die from mainstream overdose.

I think Tron 2 will be a family flick and Daft Punks retro futuristic style could work.

Cheese is nice if not overdone.

Autechre's music is too serious and gritty for care free family viewing methinks, maybe Aronofskys's Robocop would be a better choice for them but this will never happen.
