I think Flying Lotus is a good addition to Warp at least, the rest of the new stuff is pretty shit though.

I wish they'd let the fans remix the old Warp tracks, ala Jay Z White Album. It's more fun to remix than to listen to remixes.

Is it something representing the best of WARP, or the most "popular" or mainstream known WARP? 'Cause if the second, Red Hot Car has its place... so does the classics like Windowlicker or Come to Daddy or Garbagemx36 or ROYGBIV. If not, then we all know there's a lot of back catalogue that should take the place of the current fucking list.

There's a filter in place (1 track per artist) to prevent it from being aphex+boc only. lfo - freak is already on there.

This poll is just warps way of cashing in as much money as they can b4 the industry really does implode on itself. All it is,is cheap market research hidden in a disguise that makes you think that its just for our fun and involvement and to see what the results are, and they want to celebrate they long time standing in electronic music. But it inst.

What do they get out of this? Well they will find out what records might do with a little repress, also who are the most popular artists and tracks so they can then try and convince them to release something new. They also see what isn't in their demographics consciousness and leave it to rot.

Anyway really that was just a Warp hate rant because ive just seen how things are going :angry:, but if i go and have another look it probably would of changed.
