I think a Rephlex Subforum is an excellent idea.

I also think a 'Lists' forum would work, it would give genuine musical discussion more of a fixed location. It would also serve as an excellent resource for finding new music.

This is an excellent suggestion! It would allow musical discussion without all the cruft of General Banter, and give the other, lesser-known but still important pioneers their due!

Or, perhaps a further segregation and make a General Music Discussion and keep it moderated to only include musical topics?
