My favourite is the mid to late nineties DnB - Photek, Source Direct, pretty much everything on Metalheadz (Digital, Hidden Agenda, Doc Scott etc) early Dom & Roland, No U-Turn stuff (Ed rush, Nico). That was probably the point where DnB was at its most abstract, and not all about wobbly basslines.

I first heard this aged 12, when I bought the metalheadz metalbox....brings back memories...long summers, football in the park, jumpers for goalposts...massively heavy DnB....good times. I love that album.
