If you missed round one it was a dooozy. It came down to the wire with THREE overtime matches decided by one point: ulillillia miraculously throwing up a buzzer beater a nanosecond before the poll closed, racking up 2 points to edge out sloths; hating weed slipped in during the mayhem and edged out beard shaver's regret 61-60; and new tournament darlings sitting down in the shower upset ferromagnetic fluid by a decisive single point. the excitement, controversy, and turnout was unprecedented in the tournament's three year history.

the most dominant opening round performance came from large hadron collider, obliterating falconry 97-24, while notable upsets unfolded from suprising performances by thirteen-seed antique anatomical illustrations (who enjoyed a sketchy 67-54 win over powerhouse and four-seed electronic music) and fourteen-seed static (whose indecipherable, consistent offense gave rise to a convincingly lucid 76-45 victory over three-seed abstract algebra).

Round two proves to be no less exciting with matchups like hating weed vs the rush, the adaptation, and the general backwardness of the act, who cruised easily over an unexciting and flat phone sex with mary anne hobbes. At this point it looks like the only thing that can beat the rush, the adaptation, and the general backwardness of the act is themselves.

So fire up the polls, it's time for round two!!

p.s. here's the bracket so far with results:

whilst many similar bracketologies before have seen fans' hopes founder on the rocks of foregone conclusions, the pundits have already placed some predictions for the next round. however it's too early to tell for some, including this year's rocky balboa story, a plucky young degreaser from the sticks named ulillillia.

:rhubear3:

that's right green bear - whilst this year has seen the DSC franchise controversially split into a number of sub-brands, it's also seen the rise and rise of journeymen such as girls and robots in the same photo, the rush, the adaptation, and the general backwardness of the act, and augmented reality. shocked rephlex fans are still reeling from wisp's resounding defeat by the quiet outsider from a gaussian distribution of points on the earth's surface - random number generators.

:rhubear2:

one thing everybody is commenting on is the potential face-off between the two 'piper teams', yellow bear. the venue will be the decider here - if it's played out on a familiar ground, it's probably a foregone conclusion. *throws a spanner in the works*

Yeah - already I feel that urge. The act itself would be for the rush, the adapt... ughh...

for the "smoking a pipe inside x", what kind of pipe are we talking about?

i suggest gravity bongs... almost impossible to get in those apparatuses

and the irony of smoking a "gravity" bong in a space helmet is very idm!!

this has to be ne of the most anus clenching idm polls in the history of watmm. i'm on the edge of my seat.
