damn... i already started a track for "girls & robots..."!

jesus....folks, "the rush, etc" became a watmm meme as a way to shame its author into leaving the forum. It is in no way grand enough to warrant a tribute album. Such an album, by making people create music to match a loser's masochistic credo, would be giving him more attention than he's worth. "The rush, the adaptation, and the general backwardness of the act" is not IDM. It's not inspirational. It's an epitaph to an emo.

Girls and robots, on the other hand, is IDM. The imagination runs wild. Futurism and sex in one. This is a noble vision that bedroom musicians can aspire to. It proudly declares the dichotomy of cold rationality and sensuality to be a false one.
