Should the WATMM Monthly Remix Competition carry on?

Beneboi is going to choose the round 5 source track, because thats was how round 4 was advertised.

But to choose the round 6 source track I'm considering experimenting with some sort of poll (either winner suggests a shortlist and everyone else votes, as I suggested, or everyone suggests a shortlist, votes, and winner picks, as Drahken suggested) ... but I'm trying to think of a way to keep it simple ...

(On the other hand, the majority of people voted in this thread to keep the rules the same)

It sounds like people would like more rapid rounds, but because of everyone being exhausted by p168 and then the Antartica compilation deadline at the end of may, I think the deadline for round 5 submissions will be sometime in mid-June (edit: changed my mind about this, deadline for round 5 is 1 month from when it starts)

Round 5 will start soon after I hear from Beneboi .... (edit: its started)
