Yeah, I've hardly seen him do physical comedy.

His humor is more in his dry, stoneresque delivery of things.

Anyone else see 'Observe and Report'? It's the first film I've seen Rogen in where it felt like he wasn't just playing a version of himself. It's also a bit darker than the stuff he usually does with Apatow.

didnt really enjoy superbad, despised pineapple express, knockedup had its moments but was about an hour and a half too long. im not gonna be rcing out to find all his other stuff.

I didn't mean Sandler invented physical comedy, but he did start that bullshit where they show people getting punched or knocked in the nuts at the slightest offense. And Seth Rogan movie promos are full of that shit. I don't really go out of my way to watch his films. Ive seen superbad though. It was pretty forced comedy Id say. It felt overly forced to me, but fuck me right? Oh well

to my opinion, seth rogan has this weird kind of new boring humour you cannot quite put your finger on where all of his caracters he impersonates are the same. he seem to have an ''obvious facts'' approach kind of humour. ie. making boring observations of his sourroundings and stating the obvious ...fuck and i just HATE romantic omedies its so mind fuckingly boring .....its either ''funny'' or serious then funny then serious ....charlie chaplin is not as funny as him but

observe and report was funny. reminded me of bad santa. it really went further than i was expecting, and as some people have pointed out, the humor just sort of catches up with you and you start laughing at everything. or at least that happened to me.

despite the fact that he shows up in a million movies now, i've actually liked a few of them. pineapple express was one of my favorite movies of last year. i don't like judd apatow at all though, everything he touches seems to turn shit, at least when he directs. freaks and geeks is classic though...so i guess i'm indifferent to the seth rogan bandwagon, almost.

I watched it earlier tonight and I loved it. It was a lot more dark and brutal than I ever expected it to be, and it reminded me of Taxi Driver from time to time

He plays the same exact guy in every movie i've seen with him in it.

Not to say i didn't enjoy the movies but the formula is getting a bit tiresome.
