what do you do, when you are in a shitty mood

i always take some deep breathes that usually helps a little with anxiety because anytime i am feeling bad im also usually anxious.

 

also i try to think what is the source of making me feel bad and then try to fix it, or try to focus on something positive for the time being.

 

also it helps to be around friends, especially funny ones, who can just make jokes and it gets you out

weirld al, plaid and then alcohol but i don't reccomend alcohol. also talking to a good friend.

the usual, you know.

bonkers goes back to school is a horrible mix of happiness and regret but oh god how i love that tune.

Hilarious, but this will only make the situation worse. You need sunlight and socialization. Humans are social organisms.

watch engrossing films, documentaries or if possible, read books. it engages the brain enough to take your mind off things and isn't a waste of time (like lying in bed in the fetal position). failing that, channel it into anger and shout FUCK until you're tired.

go for a walk and even if the weather is bad, just accept that it is bad and appeciate nature for its ability to exist in a spectrum of good<->bad because if there was no bullshit then there would be no nirvana and life would be a solid shade of grey.

 

Medititation is really helpful for dissociating yourself from your concerns and things.

 

 

The best way to prevent things from getting you down is to just accept that some things are bad. A good but very limited example is when I shave and then use body wash it stings my face like motherfucking hell, but now i just let it hurt because cringing does not help.
