I Love Pandora

Recommended Posts

I'm working in some boring as fuck office right now, with nothing to do at all and Pandora is a fucking life saver.

I've found so much good music through Pandora, anyone else use it? Any music you got into because of it?

It introduced me to Pan Sonic, Plaid, Meshuggah, Converter and a few others. I love it. Love.

I find that it plays lots of music unrelated to my stations, and it repeats itself a lot.

Any suggestions on how to make it work better?

Me neither. I'm rocking a New York proxy from this office, works a treat!

To Scones: I've had my Autechre station for ages and I just rate every tune, or just not rate the ones I'm not fussed either way about. Over time it's refined itself and now it's excellent. Loads of good stuff played, hardly every have to skip.

Plus now you can kinda merge stations to mix it up a bit.

Guest Benedict Cumberbatch

yeah i've been using it for a couple months. its very repetitive. but sometimes that good. the rhythm & sound station plays nothing else like r&s. i discovered morphine through it recently. through my tom waits station. i also discovered an incredible collection my reggae put together my king tubby. which its repeats alot and i still want to own.

you can mix it up by adding variety (click station >add variety) or by just hittign quick mix which jumps about through your stations. that my favourite method of listening.

I'm not sure I find it that repetitive though... I mean, the worst it gets for me is some days it seems to obsess over a certain album and plays loads of tracks from that.

I think I'm just impressed with just the sheer depth of variety that Pandora has. I don't really like radio, be it internet radio or radio radio, but this is awesome.

I'm crying out of happiness.
