every weekday i see these bunnies and every day it's the same damn thing. i am fucking stoked to see the bunnies day after day, still, after two years, i can't ge enough and react the same fucking way. they wail.

I don't know if this isthe right thread to be posting this in, but I went to Peking Duck House last night and gourged myself on some of the yummiest duck on the planet. Those are some tasty fuckin birds. Christ.

I feel you Fred, I've often wanted to own some ducks, you might think they'd have similar personalities to chickens but they couldn't be more different. They make a cool sound, look cute when they're searching for food, and have a funny walk that looks like they are missing a pair of arms in front.

edit: plus they have huge cocks, gigolos in China are called "ducks"

Yes! Ducks are the best but FUCK GEESE! Their shit is revolting.

I used to work for a wildlife refuge on the east coast, which was primarily put in place to protect migratory birds like ducks, but some invasive geese and swans moved in and started drowning the ducks. Literally, just drowning them, to take over the salt marshes that were being protected for the ducks and other eastern seaboard migratory birds. It was terrible. So we had to, you know, kill the swans and geese.

And the public flipped the fuck out. Huge PR disaster. But the entire point of the refuge was to protect North American waterfowl and to preserve a stretch of marshland (there's hardly any contiguous marshland left in the States because of beach development, and it's just plain crucial to migratory birds). Fucking people. And fuck swans.

Anyway, I love ducks, even if the males are essentially serial rapists, and even if the Argentine Lake Duck (Oxyura vittata) has the world's scariest penis:
