who likes it here? im talking the series rather than the films.  im re-watching them in eng, tuning (*) into it different than when watching it in jap audio.

id rather chat with idm-ers into SaC than the other way around, i.e. otaku (bleh).

although with the old ones i found, a la galaxy 500 etc, got very samey samey episodic content imo ( i havent seen pheonix tho_) . Gits SAC 1&2 has a proper 26 ep arc, twice.  . i likey. ill research 

i REALLY like parts of FLCL too. other bits are way too gash.

im hoping my girlfriend can be brought to understand the greatness of ghostintheshell. im going to grace her with it in an understood agreed environment. this one might be her!

much better for the 10-odd hours of excellent storylines. and there is another movie, like a condensed or sidestory of one of the serie

again, Kaiba is a good 'un too.

I thought the first season of SAC was great, but I never really saw the second season.

both seasons of ghost in the shell are great. i'd rank it second on my list of the best anime seires, after evengelion. fullmetal is probably third.

Kaiba is fantastic. I need to watch it again... it was pretty complex...

Also, the second Evangelion Rebuild movie trailer is out. It's only 30 seconds long and not particularly exciting but it's all sparkly and new looking.

i had to check the evangelion because of you. i'm kinda waiting for them to be all out and dubbed in english, the dub doesn't REALLY matter i guess but i'd like to see them one after the other.

This series is probably the standard by which I would judge any pure sci-fi series. I love it that much. It's really well written and doesn't feel completely over the top from what would be possible in the not-too-distant future.

Hellsing and Cowboy Bebop are the only dubs that I have ever found satisfactory. I think it is because Hellsing takes place in England so an English accent seems fitting and an American accent just suits spike and jet.
