All the dubs that disney did for Ghibli are superb. But that's probably cos they have people like John Lasseter and Niel Gaiman involved. In fact, I think I prefer Howl's Moving Castle in English.

But in general, yeah, dubs suck.

No subtitles though. And there's a rediculous cheesy voice saying the rediculous cheesy title at the end but other than that I reckon it looks cool.

Can't wait for the newest Miyazaki film to be released in the states....

Will definitely be seeing 'Summer Wars', whenever it gets a western release....

theres another about robots i cant remember the name

their lead animator is quite famous, and they're very quirky. eternal family reminds me of a ket house gone bananas.

edit* you have to be into jap humour to really like them ttho. a bit like FLCL (which is very good if you can stand the oddness)

and yeah, GITS SAC is very good. been watching them all. going to watch series 1 soon:] really like them off my head:]

I didn't really like Eternal Family very much but Mind game is probably my favourite movie... maybe equal with Spirited Away and Brazil.

In case you didn't know, their latest offering of what I'm sure will be pure awesomeness is Genius Party and Genius Party Beyond, two anthologies of short films, featuring (of course) Koji Morimoto and Masaaki Yuasa. They're playing Genius Party Beyond here I think next week, I'm really looking forward to it!
