100th window let me down so i'm a little hesitant for this album.

I think we can quite comfortably agree that the Danny the Dog soundtrack is the pinnacle of their artist output

Cheers to this! Can't understand why this release isn't talked about more. It's a masterpiece.

new album pls

Yeah it'd be something special if they graced us with a new one. I also just learned how many other film scores del naja has done. Pretty psyched as I have a whole treasure chest to discover.

For some reason I thought 100th Window came out before Kid A, which would have made it revolutionary.  Still a great album regardless.  Love that Sinead O'Conner track where most of the chords are a whole tone lower than what the melody would normally imply.  Always thought that was a pretty cool, original sounding composition.  Excellent sound design throughout the album.  I'm surprised they didn't have a greater impact on the direction of pop music in subsequent years.

None of their old material has aged well for me aside from the fond memories of my teenage years.

I rate it highly still but I don't listen to it very often anymore.

I had a dream recently featuring 3d from Massive Attack. It was a boardroom meeting about something I can’t remember. He didn’t say anything, just happened to be there.

What does it mean?

Their opening trio is still one of the finest trilogies out there for mine. With 2 solid albums sparsely released later on.

Sadly, I don't find myself playing Blue Lines all that much nowadays, that one has aged a fair bit. Protection probably gets the most rotation from me nowadays, an easy, diverse listen.
