The love theme fom Mulholland Drive is awesome too. The scene it's used in, with Naomi Watts at the dinner party, is haunting (along with the rest of the film).

indeed it is. his interview was hands down my favorite part of the extra features. such a beautiful, classic melody and its cool to hear the story of how it came about.

and he seems like such a likeable, normal guy. i always assumed that the person responsible for this music would be an enigmatic, edward scissorhands like figure.

I love the dark atmospheric bits in the series. The big themes usually sound kind of cheesy, so I think they work with the scene itself, but I would probably never listen to it on my own time.

yeah that is in my opinion the most intense bit of the whole series, I couldn't really get any sleep after seeing that episode at night

I like the cheesy tracks as well, because the cheesiness makes them sound really nostalgic I think
