And Ludd's masterpiece: wonderlustbk6.jpg

Haha I was laughing so hard I had to mute my PS3 microphone. What is the backstory to this? Is that LUDD and Squarepusher crashing a Corvette into pine trees?

Haha. That's Ludd and me. The backstory is the "my dream date" thread. I posted the following story and Ludd did the graphics:

  Quote
I would pick you up in my flaming red Corvette, open the door for you. I would be wearing blue jeans and a black leather jacket, my hair slick and sexy. The stereo is playing The Fallout Club - Wonderlust (
). We would drive down Mulholland Drive while you give me the best blowjob ever and just as the song climaxes I steer the car out of the way (on purpose to kill us both) - we fly off a cliff into nightime Los Angeles and crash into a tree. We both die, but the song keeps playing as the car sets on fire and incinerates our bodies.

That might be possibly the gayest thing I have ever read. Anywhere.

See, I'd be more likely to buy a shirt if I knew it was going to benefit the site . . . and if it had Burlap on it, preferably in animated gif format on an embedded flexi-LCD panel on the sleeve

Well, my plans at the moment (for what they're worth) is to have a shirt offered as a pre-order incentive with WATMM Volume 2, which I'd like to kick off soon (I'm even toying with the idea of launching a mini-site just for it, just so it gets up and going, and work on the site proper in the background).

I saw them too, and summarily deleted them, as is my prerogative.

You think you have the market cornered on being a douche?

Honestly, nowhere - I got Drupal set up, and have been reading about it and how it works, but no real effort made towards getting the taxonomy of the site set up, with the various containers for the data. Switching to Drupal was a wise move over ExpressionEngine, (the flexibility it offers is amazing) but that changed how I planned out the site. It really will boil down to me setting aside time from everything else I have going on, and just fucking do it - and I'm starting to think that a mini-site for WV2 and managing that will be a good way to get things going rather than try and tackle the enormity of 8 discographies, articles, videos, interviews, tracklistings, album cover scans, FAQs, audio and video files, etc. Also, I'm still at a bit of a crossroads on how to use the member logins from the forum for the main site, so you'll theorhetically be able to do things like log in only once, rate an album, leave comments on particular tracks, write reviews, add content, and generate threads in the subforums based on releases in the various discographies.

mate, that's pretty ambitious (and awesome). if you do all of that then you'd have every right to step up some advertising and get moneys. it would also give you incentive to actually do it, as i assume the other projects are bread and butter, whilst watmm is after-school activity where cheeky cunwitts call you a gaylord.

ps. you're a gaylord

Please respect my copyright and do not use the WATMM name on any shirts - I still have plans for shirts (I know, I know...), but I'd rather do things on my own terms and direction rather than have something out there that didn't meet my standards. Plus, Cafepress is really low quality (order a shirt from any of their shops and you'll see what I mean) and I want to offer high quality product as well as an attractive design.

Batcock, etc. all that silliness, is fair game - just keep the WATMM association apart.

well yeah, i did say "watmm themed" - i'm not going to make up t-shirts with the watmm logo on them or anything, just the memes. can i still use the burger?

and cafepress shirts aren't that bad. i've ordered three and only one is showing signs of wear on the print, probably because i wear/wash it so much. though they're all dark shirts with white printing.

can someone explain heat/night

edit: wasn't in the rules

its a long running controversy about the lyrics to the aphex song 'Beetles'

although if you slow it down you can very clearly hear him say 'they come out in the heat', some people still like to pretend that they can hear him saying 'they come out at night'.

you have it copyrighted? really?

Actually if it's not already, it might be a good idea to register the trademark.
