why do i get the idea that lynch thinks moby's music is so so, but that he still gives him a brown nose? perhaps because he wants more artists in his trancendental yoga class, or whatever the hell lynch is stewing on. it makes my nails bleed when these two start to give compliments to each other. the bit on the old factories was beautiful though (and sincere).

the track is kinda blah then it goes to the main point and its ok then it goes boring again

he probably wasn't performing as moby but as 'little death' which is some rock band he started for fun in ny. yeah it is pretty horrible

i love david lynch, but the TM and the lengths he'll go to to promote it with his little club are quite saddening. would he really have done this video if not for the TM connection? no. does that make it any less sincere? i dunno. that's why it's upsetting--who knows?

the 'david lynch foundation' http://dlf.tv/ is simply a way to funnel as much cash as possible into transcendental meditation based only on the namesake of david lynch. tm doesn't work and is a total cult. you wish celebrities would do actual research on what they're supporting instead of being 'handled' by people

well he's done TM for yeeeaaars and i believe that it does the things that he says... FOR HIM. i think he's a bit off his ass to think that it's the answer for everyone, and that pumping money into the business (i think "cult" is a bit harsh) that sells it is the way to facilitate it, especially when there are plenty of other perfectly effective and not-for-profit meditation techniques to be had.

i guess if something gives you such profound peace that it's easy to put your all into it. i think it's pretty naive though.

it's 100% a cult/business. it tries to pretend it's not a religion (it is) and disguises itself with pseudo-science. check this out:
