squarepusher So is Sqaurepusher okay with people recording his shows

I didn't check before I went to the London show on friday and I got caught by a label rep whom said squarepusher isn't open to taping. So does anybody have any information to dispute this?

hmm.. i've recorded a few shows and he never said shit to me about it.

next on youtube .. Last nights show in Dublin... Give me a week to put it up...

What's there to care about, he hasn't even been playing any unreleased tracks live recently, what's a a shoddy bootleg amongst fans who are bound to buy a proper release when it comes out anyway? The artist should be flattered. I would be suprised if Squarepusher hadn't listened to bootlegs of some of his favourite artists in the past. his Brother Ceephax is actively encouraging fans to send him recordings so that he can compile a selection of his best live performances at the moment.
