big news!!!

corporations and governments are hypocritical pigs

dude where the fuck did you here this?!?!?!

the underground :shuriken:

on the one hand, i HATE this kind of thing, if only because of the time i have personally spent trying to tell girls i've loved that they are beautiful, and KNOWING that they don't believe me. that is fucking painful and it's probably worse for them and it makes me so mad.

on the other hand, as long as the super-skinny look is popular, people and corporations are going to put it everywhere they can. so there has to be some kind of mechanism to deal with that. whomever suggested that critical thinking is the answer is right, i believe, but also wrong, because if you leave it up to (especially american) parents, you might as well stick your dick in a woodchipper and hope for a satisfying handjob. maybe better sex ed programs in schools? demanding that everyone has to be Nice To Each Other? fuck man. it's an ugly problem.

No no no, I didn't say that critical thinking will solve all our problems, I'm saying that, as long as we're dreaming, a critical thinking public would make a better Utopia, than a world where everyone is sheltered from being given what they want in the media.

I've been there with girls not believing you, man. It's ugly. But I'm fairly certain that men and women will always have problems understanding each other, no matter what myspace tells them.

joshier you are a fucking idiot

When have I ever claimed I was intelligent?.. Personally I think I'm quite unreliable, I find it hard learning new things that I'm not fully comfortable in and I am pretty bad at social interactivity, to a certain degree.

It would have been a better idea to follow the topics subject and then give your own thought out opinion. Instead you just do a one liner insult that I, and I'm sure many other people on here don't give much credence to.

A lot of people I know in my life are, in my opinion, far more intelligent and quicker than myself, but they lack effort to *do* stuff, like write a book or voice their opinion etc. It's a fucking shame but it happens.

If you really have a problem with me much like Iain C then block me or something. You don't have to come into my topics. Just label me in the "dumb" crowd.

A/D Thanks for an insightful reply. I have found myself trying to tell them they are pretty too even though they believe they are not, but there's also the fact that they could just want more attention and thus, denying so you say it again.
