yeah antony is good stuff. i know some people hate his singing style, but ahh.. they're clearly wrong!

some of his stuff steers away a little too greatly from what i can handle. like some of the tracks on 'I am a bird now' will make me stop and think why am i listening to this? but the songs that i do like i really like :)

my girly likes him and his johnsons... i'm not overly keen. i can see/hear the appeal. he did (ruined imo) some stuff with bjork on her latest album.

if your talking about the male voice on volta, i disagree. without his contributions, the album probably wouldnt have even existed. the appreciation of his part in the album is definitely something to understand over time

i've heard it plenty. i will not learn to like it.

some people can't get on with bjork's voice which is fair enough, i love it. but i can't get on with anthony's. i can appreciate the emotion and feeling he puts into his music but his warbling grates on me. i hated morrisey for kind of the same reason.

I can respect what he's done for the gay/tranny community but he comes off as a parody of himself sometimes. And I personally can't get into his music.

haha, i got into antony and the johnsons through a friend of mine. she gave me I am a bird now and Noah's ark by coco rosie. i didnt mind coco rosie at first but it got old reeallly quick. antony on the johnsons on the other hand is actually good.
