Duke Nukem Forever will never come out

most of the stuff are scripted sequences - does not look like real playable game footage

also this can be done very fast if you know how to use 3d software - doesn't take longer than a few weeks to sculpt and animate

why not? i'd be interested to know how to spot this.

Up to 2:14 is all scripted animation. Duke getting up, monsters blasting through walls and jumping over a trailer. These are used to create a cinematic experience but are in no way part of the gameplay. The only gameplay parts are the big monster fighting and the last fight in the hallway, but that doesn't look very impressive to be honest.

The vid is by a modelling and animation company so that may be why it's focussed on that.

The 12-year-long development soap opera that was Duke Nukem Forever ended on a disappointing note. More disappointing for publisher Take-Two Interactive, which invested over $12 million in the game. Understandably, Take-Two is suing 3D Realms.
