A few years ago, i've seen some footage on youtube of him performing a music set

From what i can remember it sounded like heavily mashed up drill stuff, paired with fast visual imagery

The images were mostly "heavy" stuff, like, you know, hitler footage... For the shock effect. Because it will shock people. They will gasp, put their hand on their chests and say "My goodness, such imagery! I'm shocked!"

I don't think there is any deeper meaning. Well, i certainly hope so.

Hmmm... I would like to see him put on an awesome dance/effect show then this stuff... which although cool... seems a little unnecessary to watch live.

i'm torn between thinking this is self-satire, ridiculing his own work. or whether we'll see this in 15 years thinking he profoundly nailed the current zeitgeist. currently, i'm more on the "he's ridiculing his own work" side of the spectrum.

Nazi symbols were actually used in a different context before they were used by Hitler.

Also, nazi symbols are fetishized in movies. Theyre everywhere. I dont really see the problem. Its aesthetic and "edgy"

regardless of it being war footage.. i think world war 2 film footage is fucking awesome. i could watch it over and over again, somthing like world at war documentary with back and white stock footage is haunting and awesome all at the same time.and in a strange way looks beautiful.

I think I would have quite enjoyed that set had I been there.

yes absolutely. I think the nazi one is the only one that is depcited at a 45 degree angle. But it was used in many different cultures and religions before the nazis.

Also, when did it become cool to hate Cunningham?

Yeah it is indeed pretty great.... I am just surprised Chris doesn't do much of it...

Yeah it is indeed pretty great.... I am just surprised Chris doesn't do much of it...

I have seen that live and most of it did not look that great even so the sample on vimeo is one of the better parts
