The images were mostly "heavy" stuff, like, you know, hitler footage... For the shock effect. Because it will shock people. They will gasp, put their hand on their chests and say "My goodness, such imagery! I'm shocked!"

 

I don't think there is any deeper meaning. Well, i certainly hope so.

i'm glad he's not editing nazis to cool music anymore, that's so unoriginal.

maybe if he'd cut them to yakety sax that would have been worth watching.

He seems to be constantly doing that. Maybe he prefers it that way?

well it seems jonathan glazer has also struggled to make the leap to features and he is far more conventional (easily marketable).
