So I was reading that thread about the Georgia Guidestones, and the discussion went into talks of evolution, genetics, end of humanity, and eventually to bees.

Perhaps not everyone here knows yet, but Bees are disappearing... (http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/uk_news/england/3733197.stm)...

If this continues to occur an essential link that makes our environment survive will be gone, and our species as well as every other species will probably eventually become extinct. This I find to be fascinating. I don't know much more then the average person about the topic, but I would love to discuss this further with you fine folks.

Are bees dieing or are they disappearing? If they are disappearing, where in the fuck could they be going... and why?

These questions although currently have no definitive answers, I am sure the minds here at watmm can come up with some interesting theories.

And on a side note... well done Jerry Seinfeld for making a movie perhaps more important then that Al Gore movie.

that article is from 2004. The bee population has already started resurging. I don't know the theories behind why it happened in the first place but yeah, it seems after we stopped bugging the bees they kind of just sorted it out themselves.

I heard word of mouth through a friend that it was due to cell phone signals scrambling the magnetism in the bees brains or some shit like that, and this causes them to not know how to pollinate. I have no idea about the legitimacy of this theory but I thought it was interesting.

they say the frog population is also declining. Clearly the frogs must be eating the bees and dying of anaphylactic shock.

After this I listened to geogaddi and I didn't like it, I was quite vomitting at some tracks, I realized they were too crazy for my ears, they took too much acid to play music I stupidly thought (cliché of psyché music) But I knew this album was a kind of big forest where I just wasn't able to go inside.

I was in US tjis summer, and eat in KFC. FUCK That's the worst thing i've ever eaten. The flesh simply doesn't cleave to the bones. Battery ferming. And then, foie gras is banned from NY state, because it's considered as ill-treat. IT'S NOT. KFC is tourist ill-treat. YOU POISONERS! Two hours after being to KFC, i stopped in a amsih little town barf all that KFC shit out. Nice work!

So i hope this woman is not like kfc chicken, otherwise she'll be pulled to pieces.

Guest Helper ET

we are like the bees

we are dying one after another

we pretend like the problem is happening to another species

we cant accept such a thing would happen to one of us

we are everyone

so if one suffers...so do we all

one sufferer, is the death to the entire population

placing importance to your sense of relative identity is so incredibly unhealthy, that not only is it self destructive, but harmful to all universal consciousness. they try to keep us in relative comfort, but inevitably we as people will always take it down

+ = - = +

that is the only math equation which truly exists. anything outside of that is untrue

Yeah, this was from an article that cited a certain study supposedly claiming the effects of cellphones on bees, however the study was referring to the effect of implanting cordless phone receivers on bee boxes and studying the effect it had. Cordless phones operate on an entirely different wavelength than cellphones, different spectrum of electromagnetism. I had just briefly read about it earlier today after a quick search on bees dissapearence theories.

Thats got to be the most amount of bollocks made in one post on watmm since August 2007.

I'm not having a go, I'm just saying my Sister is a researcher, hive helper and community worker for bees, they are in more danger now than ever before and it's quite serious.

bees are disappearing in many countries in europe. at least in those which have intensified their farming industries to the level of corporations. the main reason for their vast dying is the poisoning of the environment. man with his endless hunger for profit will make irreversible damage to the environment if we don't act soon.

and btw, fuck al gore. he's just a rich phony.

A year ago this was the most popular debate for some time. It was said that bees went out of the beehive to fetch food and never came back. Entire colonies dissapearing in a day. It was quite a blow for the bee-keepers...

It was also said that without bees in a few years, being related to the honey and all they produce, the human would also go instinct.

www.petergaber.com is where I keep my paintings. I used to have a kinky tumblr, but it exploded.

no, its the fact that NONE of our plants would be pollenated!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! bees are the major way our plants survive!

our eco-system would collapse.
