Autechre's track titles aren't nonsense. Looking at them purely aesthetically and in terms of their pronunciation (instead of their literal meaning like people are obsessed with doing) they're so accurately representative of the track's tone, mood and sound that I can't imagine them being given any other name that might fit them so well. It makes me think that from Chiastic Slide onwards (when they started to move away from generic titles like Dael, Slip, and Glitch and shit like that anyone would feel befits the music they've created) they've been so involved in the creation of their music they just understand it so well and the perfect titles just happen without being given much thought. I know they say they'd rather release the music directly without anything that might influence your perception of it, but for me, it all adds up.

I love the titles and artwork because as this post shows I read more into it than is probably meant by them. The title Xylin Room fuels my imagination already. Coupled with the music..wow. i still find it difficult, like most of Draft 7.30, but when it begins proper it's still the freshest sound in the world. Reniform Puls, V-Proc, Iera, Pro Radii, The Trees, 777. There's a real pop sensibility to the variation and the fun they have with them. 777; repetitive and constant like the track. Iera, just..alien. For so long I thought it was Lera. Iera is even satisfying to say. I like that they can name tracks whatever they like and are effectively forcing you to say certain words and phrases you've never said before. The Trees; THE. Like, here it is. That's how it builds up to it. Here's now, The Trees. IO; I dunno, it just works. I guess Vose In is more obvious, because it has that pulsating beginning. And melve is malevolent, right? Drane; draining. Rae is like; barely there, ethereal. Soft sounding, but the ae together always looks strong. Arch Carrier sounds cheesy and so does the track. IV VV IV VV VIII constantly beats you down. Pro Radii is the funnest coolest title. Just the repetition of the P and R, and the two i's. It conjures up all sorts, like sportswear, a bit like the Untilted artwork does with its colours and two stripes, one white, one yellow. And the track itself has crowd noise samples. P.:NTIL sums up the track. Surripere is so strong and absolute, like the track. Mysterious and enigmatic..the driving rhythm. It should be in italics.

"Sorry for Quaristice, it won't happen again"

After this I listened to geogaddi and I didn't like it, I was quite vomitting at some tracks, I realized they were too crazy for my ears, they took too much acid to play music I stupidly thought (cliché of psyché music) But I knew this album was a kind of big forest where I just wasn't able to go inside.

I was in US tjis summer, and eat in KFC. FUCK That's the worst thing i've ever eaten. The flesh simply doesn't cleave to the bones. Battery ferming. And then, foie gras is banned from NY state, because it's considered as ill-treat. IT'S NOT. KFC is tourist ill-treat. YOU POISONERS! Two hours after being to KFC, i stopped in a amsih little town barf all that KFC shit out. Nice work!

So i hope this woman is not like kfc chicken, otherwise she'll be pulled to pieces.

true, true. but nor did it appear to ever have been tilted or have any evidence a having had to be brought plumb from some degree of tilt.

Inktktonk or Dreshel-act

foods in the tone of 'go to the fuckin store'

patayda chips

apple cracker thangies

carrots in brown paper bag

Using this number idea, I think they should call it 'Tentron - Lord of Ten'

Failing that, 'Satan-Worshipping Motherfuckers'
