Yes, it's a great album worth tracking down. In fact I'd probably put it in my top ten. It was written as a soundtrack to a ballet about Egon Schiele and so is quite different from other Rachel's stuff. Schiele died from Spanish Flu at a young age.

stunt rock - regret instruction manual volume one

 

 

Some of these are tracks I listened to years ago, so "heart breaking" isn't exactly the same thing as you age.. but for the most part, I still generally like them for what they are (this mostly refers to Ministry, Mazzy Star & VAST).

I've got GPO but have never been tempted to use the pianos in it. Good stuff.

you probably know the marche funebre from chopin's sonata no. 2, but that shit kills me. the nocturnes are also some of my favorite music ever, probably more dreamy than sad tho.
