Exactly the scene i visualised when i saw the thread title.

Great scene that, Riggs was totally on the edge at that point in the film. In the following scene Murtaugh dragged him into a room and gave him hell for being so wreckless. Riggs responded by putting a loaded gun to his own head. It then dawned on Murtaugh just how close to the edge of sanity Riggs actually was. It was at that point that the buddy boy relationship between them started to develop.

I'm not suggesting the dynamics of the relationship between Lian and Chen was as complex. But it would be interesting to see the scene which followed afterwards......

Whatever Chen's intentions were, Lian's a huge fucking asshole for pushing him off. If this were America, Chen would probably turn around and sue Lian for the damage he sustained in the fall. It's like the beginning of 'The Incredibles'.
