[PROTOTYPE]

just got this game and I'm in a constant state of orgasm.

It basically lets you do everything you've always wanted to do in GTA type games. I can't believe its taken developers this long to start regularly churning out the types of games where you are a superhero type of dude with fantastic mobility.

Just partway through now, but this game just gets better and better, somehow when I read the previews I was seriously doubting that this game would ever live up to all its promises but it does and exceeds.

also the animation is fantastic, I dunno where you heard its bad Squee. The violence is better than just about any game.

i want an open ended game that plays like GTA (or this game?) where the gameplay isn't so focused on destroying people and things. i need like a GTA style game where you're just a freelance photographer in an huge city

Finished the game and am now repeat playing with New Game + (all upgrades maintained).

The game's even better second time through - the city at the beginning of the game isn't overrun with infected/military, so it allows you to mess around with your powers with little threat of interruption, and you can do what I always love, which is to destroy the innocents and crush pedestrians.

I can totally understand why this game might not appeal to some people - it's hyperviolent and based around destruction, so if that's not your thing - well, you'll get a whole hell of a lot of not your thing.

The hyper-parkour along, though, is worth it in my opinion. Once you have all the movement upgrades, tooling around the city is just a blast. I spend a lot of time just running/gliding around the city 'cause it's so much damn fun. But, then again, pulling up your shield and smashing through crowds of cars and pedestrians is pretty damn fun too.

9.5/10 - no Co-op drops the score for me, but as a pure, adrenaline filled game, this is wonderful. The game proper ramps up the difficulty in appropriate segments, making things challenging even when you have super-evolved your powers. So many ways to have fun, total buy if you're into this sort of shit.

i played it on pc and the controls were whack as fuck. i bet id like it on xbox though
