BCM
every mixing program I've ever used has been fucking shit. non of them can beat match anything correctly unless it's minimal 4/4 techno. fuck all that ableton warp marker bollocks - takes fucking forever and is fiddly and annoying. if someone actually came up with a program that could intelligently mix between different types of beat (ie not just 4/4) without you having to firstly TELL the fucking thing where every hit is, then, i for one would illegally download it. From what you've said here, I'd say Traktor also. Although I can't say I know much about the other programs mentioned other than Acid, but I don't think that's what you're looking for. Have a read up on each I guess, but I'm with the Traktor school of thought. All comes down to how you get on with each program, UI etc. Horses for courses and all. Guest tronicphace
Reason + Sony Sound Forge + Acid although I'd like to try traktor, and I would probably enjoy cubase and maxMSP Quote Link to comment https://forum.watmm.com/topic/46541-good-software-for-making-a-mix/page/2/#findComment-1066475 Share on other sites

BCM
actually, yeah, ACID's pretty good for beatmatching - i actually think ACID v.1 is probably the best as it gets too complicated it the later versions with the whole Beatmapper thing (which is basically the same as the Ableton warp marker process). unfortunately i have a Mac, so no ACID for me :( Thanks Haha Confused Sad Facepalm Burger Farnsworth Big Brain Like × Quote Hide BCM's signature Hide all signatures Bandcamp | Spotify | SoundCloud | Amazon | Apple Music | YouTube | YouTube Music | Deezer | Google Play Music Link to comment https://forum.watmm.com/topic/46541-good-software-for-making-a-mix/page/2/#findComment-1066709 Share on other sites
