I want a sequencer with on board note programming, not one you have to plug a keyboard into. I used to have an Electribe EM-1 and would use one again for sequencing purposes, but I really want an analogue style one with separate knobs for every note... Guest analogue wings
yeah they are cool sequenceers but the built in sounds are uber gay Quote Link to comment https://forum.watmm.com/topic/46573-your-next-synth/page/2/#findComment-1074081 Share on other sites
Guest mafted
yea exactly.. the ER AND EA had a nice design but no flexibility. same with the newer electribe synths. the samplers are ok tho.. they have some nice features. I swear Rich used nothing but an ES-1 for the Untitled remixes. the effects are recognizable (decimator, high freq filter, etc.) and it sounds like he scrolls through almost every one on it and somehow makes 2 amazingly energetic tracks. upon acquiring a Nord, you realize how inflexible other synths are. shouldn't have sold it.
