I figured WATMM was running out of new threads before our conversation through MSN yesterday night. Sooner or later, somebody had to announce WATMM's current crisis.

almost no food threads

if you go to cons for hacking or anime or whatever, you'll notice cons can go through a few typical phases:

1) small yearly gathering that isn't really a con. orderly

2) people tag along, it expands and becomes haphazard con. gets a bit rowdy

3) grows big enough that it gets a web site, registration, and so on. minor hotel damage

4) presence of web site, increased awareness causes con to swell, overwhelmning management. major hotel damage

5) con management either gives up entirely, or clamps down so no one has any fun. boring

there might be some parallels. that, or weed + etc. was like an infection and the forum still hasn't gotten its full health back.

Well thankfully, at least WATMM doesn't have any furries.

I think we should all dress up as foxes and panda bears with strap-ons. That's the change WATMM needs.

best thing about this forum is the music discussion when your not slagging everything off cos you want things your way....the way you see or hear them in your head, i wish those ppl would make the music they want to hear without projecting it on to the artists who are essentially doing there own thing and not what you want..

may i add i read this forum alot before i joined, it took me ages to actually post something because i couldn't find a decent enough thread plus new members who post ordinary threads usually about the artists or specific songs will find them selves subjected to cutting remarks or abuse.... so they seldom start a new thread, then its left for the same old users to step in and try and be funny.

so well done watmm you formed your own group of souls who are now realizing that your all just plainly boring online

general banter should be its own forum outside of watmm...

Which lunar phase do you find the most boring? I reckon it's gibbous. Just looks like a full moon that's been drawn by a kid that can't do circles properly. It's shit. Give me a good crescent any day.

watmm has been shit for a good couple of years already. around 2005 is started to go downhill. i don't know why, IDMz started to stagnate then. i remember a time when you could find info about really good music, but now it's just become a circlejerk for fanboys of the big guns on warp. shame on you!

the creation of the LTM forum and the consequent banning of a bunch of people hasn't really helped either.
