Theres a reason why Nas (Illmatic), 2pac, and BIG are the most famous rappers. Not only do they say complicated things fast and mix them with powerful, easy to understand metaphors, but their dictation is also impeccable. To say things as fast as they do and as clearly is a skill in itself. All the most famous rappers have mastered this. While guys like Aesop don't really worry about it, and to add to that the mixing is sub par. El-P's mixing on Fantastic Damage is horrendous at times... I would just like to add.
