Bat for Lashes are coming to the Henry Fonda in August. I think I could go check them out..

The Mars Volta's first album was stellar, but they have yet to wow me since then.

the first half of the second album, though drawn out, is pretty great. the third album ain't bad at all, but you're right, nothing that wow'd me like deloused.

Yeah, I like parts of the second album. But it was just like they went into the studio and recorded themselves going "CHECK OUT THIS REVEEERRRRRRRB."

I have the third one but don't remember any of the songs on it.

i listened to it for a few months whilst struggling after highschool which may be why i hold it close. it is kinda like the second, first few tracks are pretty good, the rest is just meh.

and yeah, their jam band thing infuriates me.
