Until it becomes as easy to create extensions for Safari and Chrome as for FF, not a chance.

Mouse gestures alone make FF way better. I hardly ever use Safari, and yes I have the latest stable.

seems a lot faster. uses more ram, but isn't as sluggish as 3.0. chrome uses a fair bit of ram as well, to be fair. pretty impressed actually. if ff remains this snappy i may ditch chrome.

pretty hilarious that they've taken private browsing mode and detachable tabs from chrome. but then chrome's take the bulk of what it is from ff, same with ie now.

hope the in browser video fucks flash, that ram stealing fuck. browser downloadable fonts sounds cool.

I installed it about a week ago and it was only until I ditched most of my addons that I noticed the speedy improvements.

However, my annoyances still remain which are:

History - It's fucking shit, I've never known something so bad. For example; It will take a year to load because there is no way to change the setting for how long it stores the date anymore. It also *does not* work, for example - I closed a session and then wanted to see where a particular site I had up, so I arrange it by site last visited .. aaaand.. Poof, gone, nothing there. Only websites there are a week+ old ones, fucking mental.

Browsing - sometimes still very slow on some html sites whereas opera pisses all over it.
