concept cars

This is kinda cool and looks like something from the 70s, but at the same time, could be a recent retro design.

The wheels in the first image give it away as something recent.

Thats the Alfa Romeo BAT 11 based on the most recent of Alfas 8C supercar, they are actually considering taking this concept and turning it into a road car, but only in partial production, so it won't look QUITE like that.

It's also very recent, 2008.

I have to wonder if some of those four-skirted concepts have near-infinite turning radii.

Also the Lamborghini Countach was never actually a concept car, they did design concepts around the Countach, but the Countach itself was originally designed to be a road supercar and was in continuous production for 16 years (the longest running "unbroken" length of production for any supercar).

I know way too much about cars in case you hadn't noticed.

and before anyone chimes in and says surely the "Ford Mustang" is the longest running production supercar.

A) it doesn't come under that category

B) It was out of production for 2 years
