if you want DEEP minimal house get the Virgo LP by Virgo (not the adonis/marshall virgo) probally the best house album ive ever heard, and ive heard quite a few in my time!

I don't know if this is house or not, but I recently acquired "Lazers n Shit" by Syntheme. It's pretty basic stuff, but It sounds reaaaaallly fucking dirty and evil. Really good "morning after, further one's own despair" kind of music.

i guess vladislav delay's luomo moniker could be called house music. the first album, 'vocalcity' is the most superior of his luomo albums, imo.

im not sure this is a very good place to get house music suggestions.... UFORB? syntheme?

I don't think anyone is saying forget about the Orb, nor that the Orb aren't a footnote in the history of 'house' music. They were pioneers of an ambient genre that contained elements and motifs borrowed from house music. They were pretty much the band the term 'chillout' was originally coined for. But the original poster seemed to be asking for recommendations within the idea of house music as 'club' music.
