Finally, intelligent discussion - expand upon this, please - I'm curious as to what you've heard about the PS3's rasterizer in relation to making games on PS3 vs. 360.

The PS3 is like BOC, but in console format: misunderstood except for the fanboys.

I just read where John Carmack of id was saying how their game Rage will have like 20fps less on the PS3 because of the rasterizer , or whatever. The CPUs are basically the same though. The plus side is the whole game will be on one blu-ray disc instead of 3 or 4 dvds on the Xbox.

It doesn't make much sense .. considering how much work went in to the 8 processors in it. I'm confident they'll be able to work it out. I think developers are still getting used to the capabilities of the PS3. You'll notice the games made by Sony look like 20 times better than the rest (Wipeout HD, Drake's Fortune, etc.). It seems like only Sony takes the time to do it.

This is why it's good to have a next gen PC which blows all these inferior consoles out of the water, as well

Agh! You're right (I don't own a 360, and considering how many times there is a RROD, you'd think I'd know) - hence, V2:

What's so great about connecting your console to the internet? I get that the online arcades let you play games for free, and download retro games, and some other pretty cool stuff, but can you surf watmm, or porn, for that matter?
