What is your favorite album by The Orb?

Adventures Beyond the Ultraworld has to be some of the warmest sounding music I've ever heard, from any genre.

orblivion is my favorite i think. orbus terrarrum has hit me on a more subconscious level. i think it's great but i can never really remember it. i get the same effect from 'glam' by mouse on mars.

I think probably UFOrb, for the first three minutes of OOBE alone. But the first three are pretty much flawless. I'd say Baghdad Batteries is my favourite after that, that's the record that made me go back and actually listen to the 90s stuff again, it'd been so long. Orblivion I've never got into, always found it too bitty, I prefer Cydonia in fact.

Bicycles & Tricycles is terrible and Okie Dokie is pretty dull. If The Dream was all like the second half it'd be great, but all the Alex & Youth pretending they're reggae producers shite in the first half is painful.

Ultraworld, hands down

I'd say UFOrb first, then maybe (and controversially) Okey Dokie then Orblivion.

But loads of lovely stuff abound. Still not got into Baghdad Batteries yet, and have only listened to Metallic Spheres once whilst hungover and hungry so I have no real opinion of that yet.

Ultraworld hands down, especially for "A huge ever growing...". Best track of ALL TIME.
