Guest WhoNeedsElectricity
Wait, DJ Hero is a real game? I know I don't pay attention to video-games much, but I was so sure this was a joke. Solo Strike
Well they clearly want to appeal to a big audience. Don't expect that ultra limited Underground Resistance 12" from 94 to make an apperance! There should be an IDM Hero with a version of dbGlitch and a faux MIDI controller Edited September 18, 2009 by Solo Strike Thanks Haha Confused Sad Facepalm Burger Farnsworth Big Brain Like × Quote Link to comment https://forum.watmm.com/topic/48939-daft-punk-in-dj-hero/page/2/#findComment-1125117 Share on other sites

Guest blicero
Scratch looks much better... all real hip-hop... not crappy top 40 mash-ups. and the scratching is freeform, not scripted. also, the controller is much better and made by Numark, which MPC style pads. I look forward to hooking this up to MIDIYoke and using as a controller. Rubin Farr
i agree the Numark controller looks way better, but that setlist is too confining. i thought the idea of these games was to draw in hip hop AND dance fans, not just thugs who wanna be gangstas. hopefully, both games will have some good DLC that will expand their appeal. i can't believe DJ Hero hasn't made exclusive deals with some of the bigger dance labels, there are a lot of recognizable tracks from the last 20 yrs with street cred that were also decent hits. I've heard most people who actually play an instrument prefer RB over GH due to this.
