Me and my buddy did a sort of unintentional tribute to the late Mr. Swayze, ironically before he passed. It was a campy hip hop/jungly track from our 2007 album. We ended up sending the album and a press kit along with a kind letter to his management just to see what would happen. Nothing ever came back, but I was told by his agency that someone most likely delivered it to him, so I can only hope he heard it. Who knows. Either way, his brilliance lives on in our anthemic, kooky fun track and even local-Phoenix press started to catch on. It was a great sing-along at our shows at the time (We've been on a 6-year long album creating phase since).
