um no. As if amber and garbage don't already sound similar enough, take a closer look at garbage's artwork. They most likely came from the same sessions, "garbage" being a reference to the fact that the 4 tracks therein didn't make it onto Amber.

Check both the sound similarities and the artwork, it belongs with tri-rep. Granted, warp made it fuck all confusing with the release nos., which (according to discogs) don't match up with the release dates

Love Amber. Further is probably the track that got me into Autechre.

Yeah Garbage is the tracks that didn't make it onto Amber so it fits very well here.

Otherwise we have too many ep's in the Tri Rep stage because we need Anvil Vapre and Peel sessions 1, and if we move garbage to Tri Rep then we will only have amber and no ep's for this period.

So it all makes sense in the end

I'm listening to incunabula

just starting off and wanted to remark that foil is one of the most amazing album opener's i've heard. though simple in its parts it manages to come off as incredibly powerful -- jarring. even to this day i still get an uncomfortable yet addicting feeling when listening to it.

anywho... time to finish the album.

Does anyone know if the cover is a painting or a photograph? It looks pretty photorealistic, especially if you look at the ponds right at the front.

If this place actually exists I want to go there.

this happened to me too, incunabula is really good to my ears now

always loved amber, so it's nice to listen again

amber is probably my favourite album to listen to while tripping. slip conjures up some very nice synaesthesia!

Garbagemx36 is one of AE's best tracks. I don't think the Garbage tracks are straight outtakes from Amber because they just sound so much cleaner and more... uh... technical? I think they are a gap bridging set of tunes.

I dunno, maybe I should read the rules.../;...

Yeah I must admit that Foil as begining for the album is awesome. You guys gonna make me love this record.

i think i liked this album from the very first note (Foil indeed), i was listening to it in a record shop & after 4 seconds, i bought a copy.

probably my favorite autechre album, even the leftovers are great (nomina, P.i.o.b2) + check the amber area remixes.
