I have a passing, lazy interest in dubstep, so perhaps this is the sort of reputable compilation that would warrant my consideration.

That's kind of about where I'm at these days...

oh and ATOP: too fucking right bro!!!

Shout outs to the saracens, musulmen and celestials.

Looking forward to this a lot. I am a big fan of Burial, but the variety of the artists Kode9 has released on the label and what he has done for the music in general can't be overlooked. This should be a good representation.

just listened to fostercare via youtube and it was a bit underwhelming for me

im sure most other people will go crazy for it because it has the good old female voOoCAAAaaaAaAaL sAaMplLlLeeeeee

sample is brandy - angel in disguise

:orly:

First listen and I already like this so much more than the Warp comp. Hyperdub is indeed more than just Burial, although his track is gorgeous as always.

after burial's nite train (absolutely peerless even amongst burial shit)

edit: holy crap i just realised that the vocal sample is michael jackson :emotawesomepm9:

maybe my joint second favourite hyperdub release is that darkstar track

Im mostly just in it for the Burial track (which is think is great) but there are plenty of other artists I check for on this compilation.

I really dislike most of Kode9's tunes though, that Ghost Town is a right load of shit

You heard Black Sun? That's really good. Not heard Ghost Town, but I never really dug his super minimal stuff, if it's in the same style.

his tracks on the grime2 rephlex comp are probably my fav dubstep tracks, dislokated :D:D:D

That King Midas Sound track is really good. Only heard first half of the comp so I'll come back with more, I guess :pedobear:

THATS HOW U NO U GOD WHEN YOU GOTA MODEL AND SHE THROW UP ON YO DICK BECAUSE ITS SO BIG AND YOUR IN A LIMO GOING TO A LIL B CONCERT - Lil B

Agreed, loads better than the Warp20 comp. This gives me a chance to listen to some artists that I've been meaning to pick up on too. The new Flylo track is pretty good, but kind of a "standard" Flylo track. He's extremely influenced by Burial and the dubstep scene obviously, but I wanted something different I guess, I dunno.

Fostercare is really worth the wait. I've been a huge fan of his growing love for dark semi-beatless tracks and I hope he does more of it.
