Thomas Wedders, also known as Thomas Wadhouse, Bry, born in Yorkshire, England, circa 1730, was a performer in various circus sideshows in the mid-18th century. He is chiefly known for having the world's longest nose, allegedly measuring 7.8 inches (20 cm) long.  - source

The winning Trafalgar Square Fourth Plinth sculptures have been announced for 2026 and 2028.

Tschabalala Self's bronze and blue homage to a metropolitan woman of colour, and Andra Ursuța's resin sculpture of a horse and rider covered in a shroud, were chosen from a shortlist of seven.

A giant sweet potato and colourful ice cream van were among those shortlisted.

The Atherstone Ball Game is a "medieval football" game played annually on Shrove Tuesday in the English town of Atherstone, Warwickshire. The game honours a match played between Leicestershire and Warwickshire in 1199, when teams competed for a bag of gold, and which was won by Warwickshire.

When your self loathing gets so strong, your fragility and desperate need for validation gets too much to bear,  and the resulting outwardly projected homophobia gets so all encompassing that you need to start your own 'political party' to support it all.

What an absolute turd of a man.

The ironic thing is, he could've quietly come out of the closet a few years ago when nobody knew who he was and nobody would've batted an eyelid, instead of building a big audience of impressionable adolescents and adult incels, and constantly telling them that basically everything in the world is "gay" apart from him and his insatiable yearning to have sex with other straight men.

The logical ending of course would be him being 'gaybashed' to death by his own horrified moron army of homophobic mouthbreathing alpha-virgins.

Do you british folk know of the show Escape to the Country on the BBC? it's kind of a favorite at the moment. I was wondering how popular it is over there.
