I'm trying to remember something.

you pretty much sound like anyone else on this earth that has ever believed in a similar concept.

and i dont mean that as an insult, but rather support of my argument.

and why does the concept of God always coincide with our concept of existance?

why not non-existance?

*waits for pbn to come in here to school me*

Nah now you see thats too far lol. I don't know and I don't care, and yes it is pretty typical I know you're not insulting me, but there really is no need to delve in the whole existence or non existence, we don't need to know anytihng about anything at al if it works. Many people use and drive a car, having no idea how it works, they don't need to, it works for them, so fuck it.

We cannot argue over something which has no definitve proof, it renders all believe personal only, and there is no wrong or right.

lol, pbn has been thin on the ground for like 2 years now, poor guy.

but see man, thats my thing, im not arguing over the "proof" of God. Im speaking of God as a conceptual term, which definately exists. Why do you, and I, and almost everyone else on this earth use this term? and for what reasons? how did it develop linguistically, conceptually....we already have a pretty good grasp of the political and theological reasons....but so much of that word is still up for debate.

the word, the phrase, the meaning of it, not that "it" exists...thats a more or less subjective and ultimately pointless argument.

OK, yeah I got you now, you're absolutely right. So many different views and beliefs, many conflicting, as to what the word actually means, it's beyond any sort of understanding at all really, apart from as I say, ones belief, what people believe in their own heart, to be their truth. If only everyone could have their own truth and leave it that way, rather than imposing on others and starting debates, "No it means this" "No it means that" crap.

Yeah I've pretty much said all I can now, I'll leave it up to the rest of watmm lol.

We were the Gods of page 2 btw, that right there is a God fact.

sr4 i get you completely. i believe in god but my definition is a lot different than what most people think of when they hear the word "god". really there's no point in even saying the word god any more because of the retarded connotations it carries with it.
