yeah. but mudhoney's superfuzz bigmuff (1988) is the epitome of garage so we're gonna have to lump sonic youth (who i do prefer - especially sister era) in with pixies in the etc section.

ok, yeah, fair enuff. i should dig out some mudhoney stuff. every good boy deserves fudge is pretty damn good.

so what's this thread about again? unlabelled waves? ska? tickets to see the specials live this november were about 40 quid. i got a fucking message for them, rudy.

There is the 1st wave, which was simply a continuation of carribean music like dance hall/reggae etc. Then the 2nd wave was a 70's/80's type movement in America that was an anti-racism movement. Ska music made by white and black people together, aww how cute. Then there's the bastard 3rd wave which is just pure americans in the mid 80's to now making the same ska over and over. (Aquabats, Might Might Bosstones etc.)

Choking Victim/Leftover Crack are pretty damn good.

I someone placed a Leftover Crack album for me recently, and it was not a positive experience.
