I think today's fashion is a heavy mix between the colors of the early 90's and the worst styles of the 80's.

I generally agree. There doesn't seem to be anything "new" about today's fashion, just a bunch of old shit rehashed and mixed together in very (often intentionally) non-harmonious ways.
