post pics of your cat(s)

My best guy, and the best kitty I know passed away this year in January. He was with us for 15 years and was probably around 18 years old as my pops had him before he passed away. There's a ton of pics of him in this thread but we have some favorites. He lived a really good life and his last days were spent with us curled in our laps, having his favorite snacks, he had a nice kitty rave the night before he passed away as well; listening to bangin' techno was one of his favorite things to do.ngs.

Thx :). This will prob sound really weird but we didn’t give him a name per se. He was always The Cat. I guess we could pretend like we named him after Cat from breakfast at tiffany’s but no lol. 

The little guy from that last pic with him is “Cat 2” lol.

We will name future kitties diff but he will always be THE Cat.

that's pretty cool, I always thought about naming my pet like that but it was my sis and mom who named mine, he's called Macarroni

The ones to the left are these Castle brand that my stepdad had me test out, not great.  The stacked ones to the right of those are Athena’s. I’m in the market for something vintage, 70s, that will play nice with my Marantz receiver. Just testing stuff out.

Excellent ty. I didn’t recognize them but yeah castle not the best….From my experience athena’s are ok value for the $. If you’re looking 1970s honestly imo look american or canadian in order of preference JBL (looking older than 1970 Altec Lansing, JBL is James B Lansing), Cerwin Vega (have a reputation for being frat boy speakers but honestly if you have excessive clean power they’re outstanding for the price, look for E or AT series the latter being 80s), polk audio has some excellent stuff in the 70/80s range and PSB.  Wish we could speaker share like they do airbnb lol I could send some of my collection over. Also you may have known all of that, sorry.

Do u still listen to like, radio waves, old man? u know digital streaming services exist? or are u one of those purists that claims that analog sounds warmer?
