ROCKS FROM MARS

Actually I'm going to be a high school science teacher! My major is Secondary Science Education with emphasis on Earth and Space science so just about all of my classes are through the geology department. The only non-geology I've taken other than gen ed's and education courses were physics, calculus, meteorology, and astronomy. My brother is a geology major though, so we get some interesting if not nerdy conversations going on lol

as far as i know the USSR actually considered one-way moon missions at one point - sending a bunch of kamikaze cosmonauts to bounce around for a few days before they ran out of oxygen / shot themselves. sacrifice yourself for the glory of Soviet science and all that.

it's a mad premise... who's going to sign up for it? maybe suicidal types... would certainly be novel way to go.
