what drugs is this guy on

Recommended Posts

hmm fairenuff, can't find much info on ether but i have seen people have similar motions on K. about a year back an ex turned up at a night with a emancipated scottish gabber producer (this hosted at the same pub at which the owner was bottled by amy winehouse's husband). they proceeded to snort huge lines of K in the toilet, after which he tried to hit the dancefloor, slowly ambling into the heart of the fray. progressively over the next 10 minutes he danced downwards to the floor in slower, swaying semblances of 'avin it. occasionally he'd sway and look to be about to fall over, but like in that video swung his body back on balance. eventually he was just squatting, arse 5" from the floor, arms limply moving, and as he finally plonked his head down on his knees he sent himself off balance the last time and teetered over, sprawling onto the floor.

3rd plateau DXM trip anyone?

It certainly looks like it! My best friend and I got pretty heavy into tussin for a spell. He kept talking about trying to reach the 3rd plateau and of how he's only reached the 2nd. That shit is no joke!

*edit*

btw...

a couple different unconnected friends of mine posted this on facebook yesterday...

probably straight up ketamine. alcohol makes you lose your sense of balance, but this guy still has it. he just can't move his body/limbs properly (making his movements all the funnier). i think he shows a commendable amount of dexterity and effort given he's probably on the verge of a k-hole.

That's why I think it's ether. The way Hunter S Thompson describes ether in the book is pretty accurate. You want to do some shit, but your limbs just don't respond properly...

really? i thought it was maybe just because of all the other drugs they are on in Fear in loathing, because in my experience Ether on it's own is like a very long term version of the euphornic come-up effects of Nitrous (not the explosive pass out part). You feel very out of it but you can walk perfectly fine. although i remember there being a heavy dose of psychedelic paranoia as well as hallucinating time loops.

Always kind of bothered me that scene in Fear and loathing because it seemed a very exaggerated version of what the drug actually does (the only other time it's done is adrenechrome, but thats a fake drug so its ok)
